The Toronto Tantra Festival comes alive at Camp Walden!
Camp Walden is a 750-acre kids camp located on a beautiful private lake just outside of Bancroft, ON. The area is known for its ancient rock formations, including sodalite.
For thousands of years, this land has been home to the Mississauga, the Nipissing, the Ojibwa, and the Algonquin First Nations. Stone carvings and tools dating back 7,000 years have been found in the area.
First Nations call this land:”(o)gidaaki”. Gidaa means upwards and ki means earth – upwards earth. It is known as the Highlands today.
We honour this land and its rich and sacred history and are grateful to borrow it for this festival. It will support deep and transformative experiences.
